On Saturday early morning (September 15, 2018), Typhoon Ompong with an international name of Mangkhut makes a landfall in Baggao, Cagayan.
Ompong is currently lashing the parts of Luzon with ferocious winds and torrential rains causing floods in several areas.
PAGASA reported that the typhoon also enhances the southwest monsoon or locally known as “Habagat’ and warned the residents near coastal areas of possible 6-meter high storm surges.
The typhoon prompted the local government units to declare the cancellation of cl(–foul word(s) removed–), suspension of flights and interrupts the operations of several businesses in the country.
