Rainfall Warning The Following Areas Issued By PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA has issued a rainfall warning in the following areas informing the public about the current weather condition.

On Saturday (September 15, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released a rainfall warning over some parts of the country.

PAGASA issued various rainfall warning in several areas affected by the current weather system in the country.

Yellow Warning Level (Flooding in flood-prone areas are possible)

  • Metro Manila
  • Rizal
  • Nueva Ecija
  • Pampanga
  • Tarlac
  • Cavite

Orange Warning Level (Flooding is threatening)

  • Bulacan

Red Warning Level (Serious flooding expected in low-lying areas)

  • Zambales
  • Bataan

Meanwhile, Batangas, Laguna, and Quezon are expected to experience Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains.

Rainfall Warning

Currently, Typhoon Ompong with an international name of “Mangkhut” is hitting the country and expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Saturday night or Sunday early morning (September 16, 2018).
