Camp of Sen. Trillanes Claims Alleged Policeman Followed his Staff
TRILLANES – Senator Antonio Trillanes IV’s camp claimed that an alleged policeman followed his staff.
Currently, Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV is faced with issues surrounding his amnesty grant. The amnesty granted to him by former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III is being questioned now.
Duterte Proclamation 572 was released and it voided the amnesty of the Senator. The Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Department of Justice were also previously ordered to pursue the cases against him.
Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte decided to wait for the verdict of the Supreme Court on the case of Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV.
The Supreme Court did not grant the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) request by Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV against the presidential proclamation.
Currently, the Senator who is in the pursuit of defending the validity of his amnesty. He is staying under the custody of the Senate. He previously expressed that even his fellow lawmakers advised him to stay there.
Two Makati Regional Trial Courts did not release arrest warrants against the Senator. As for him, he visibly does not believe that he will not be arrested when he will go out.
Recently, based on a post of Manila Bulletin News on Twitter, Sen. Trillanes’ camp released some photos. The said photos allegedly show the supposed policeman who was following the staff of the Senator.
The man’s outfit gives him a civilian-look. Based on another post, the staff of the Senator just went out of the Senate to refuel.
