Though his fans still continued to support his new self and his new endeavors but still there are those who are criticizing him for his decision.

“You have no idea like what some people messaged me. Kung mayroon tayong word na discrimination, it’s more than that. And to think that sometimes they put those insults, below-the-belt words along with God. And that upsets me,” he said in an interview.

Behind the negative comments, Jake is still doing what makes him happy. Just recently, it was reported that he is one of the stars in a Japanese action film ‘She’s A Killer‘.

His fans are definitely thrilled about this. On the other hand, the singer turned actor admitted that he is still experiencing discrimination until now.

This situation happens in comfort rooms most of the time. Jake Zyrus shared the story about this on an article published in Bandera.

According to him, there are really people who do not respect their fellow men.

“I go to London, I go to e-verywhere and kapag nagsi-CR ako, I can go to the male restrooms. I get the look, pupunta ka pa lang mapapaurong ka na. You know where I go, sometimes like in public, I’m gonna be honest, sometimes I go to handicapped (CR),” he related.

Jake added that he knows he is not someone who could change to perspective of others and he has no right to change what people wants to believe.

Behind that bashing and the discrimination he is experiencing, the singer-actor is just focusing his thoughts to all the blessing that are coming to his life, based on the article.
