Thunderstorm Advisory Issued By PAGASA In The Following Areas
The state weather bureau PAGASA has issued a thunderstorm advisory in the following areas and advised residents to take precautionary measures.
On Monday afternoon (August 27, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather updates in the country.
PAGASA issued a thunderstorm warning over some parts of the Philippines to warn the affected residents regarding the possible weather condition.
Here are the areas covered by the thunderstorm advisory:
- Zambales
- Bataan
- Rizal
- Pampanga
- Bulacan
- Tarlac
- Batangas
- Quezon
The thunderstorms are expected to bring heavy rains with lightning and strong winds on the affected areas mentioned above.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila (Marikina) and Laguna (Paete, Kalayaan, Lumban) would also experience the same weather condition.
The weather agency also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides.
