Barker Went Viral On Social Media After Charging Parking Fee In Public Place Own By Government
BARKER – A video of a barker went viral after charging parking fee in a public place. He was then spotted by the police and was later arrested.
In the Philippines, we have what we call “barkers”. These people are here to aid in situations like loading passengers in jeepneys, tricycles, etc.; find a parking spot for vehicles; and many more. Like most jobs, there are times that barkers would exploit drivers and passengers to gain more money.
This situation occured in Libertad Market, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. A netizen named Tereso Macairan Drilon Jr. posted a video of a barker dressed in green who asked for a fee in exchange for a parking spot in that particular place.
The video went viral and gained about 88 reactions, about 28K views, and about 400 shares.

That being said, the authorities found the barker in the video and caught him. TV Patrol Negros posted a video of BTAO on social media showing the interrogation and the arrest of the barker.
