Boracay Island, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Philippines is now under rehabilitation to restore the island’s natural beauty.

Most Filipino people and tourists are already excited on the upcoming reopening of the famous haven after six months of rehabilitation.

Recently, the Facebook page “Mugstoria” has shared a video documentary revealing the latest developments and projects in Boracay.

The video clip owned by “Presidential Communication” was entitled “Ang Pagbangon ng Isla” showing the progress of Boracay rehabilitation.

The documentary video shows that the water is already clean and clear from green algae caused by pollution.

More than two months after the rehabilitation, the island’s stunning beauty is almost naturally restored while the inter-agency Task Force on Boracay Rehabilitation was busy improving the tourist destination.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) was also installing a new circumferential road and other road rehabilitation projects.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Roy Cimatu said that this time they will strictly enforce a new sewer treatment plant (STP) scheme on the island.

The Task Force Boracay Rehabilitation confidently announced that the island could reopen on October 26, 2018, after the six-month closure.
