Singer-comedienne Cacai Bautista was asked if she wants to undergo cosmetic surgery.
Undeniably, she is a very talented singer and theater actress but she receives questions regarding the possibility of improving her looks.
Based on the article published in PEP, she answered this during the press conference of her upcoming fantasy-comedy movie with the title Wander Bra.
She said that going under the knife never entered her mind.
“Wala talaga, e. Sa akin talaga, kahit dati pa, kahit mga [nagsasabi] sila na magpaayos ng ngipin, kung ano, hindi ko talaga kaya,” she shared.
This is because she is afraid of the thought that blades would run through her body.

“Bukod sa takot ako sa knife, yung injection nga lang, dyusko, nakakapanghimatay!” Cacai Bautista added.
According to her, when it comes to the psychological aspect, she can’t see herself doing it.
Aside from that, the comedienne also has another reason why she says no to cosmetic surgery.
“Posible ring magbago ang pagtanggap ng mga tao sa kanya kapag nagpabago siya ng itsura. Tapos kasi kapag pinaayos ko yung ganyan, so mag-iiba. Ayokong… yun, alam na ng lahat ng tao na ito ang mukha ko,” she stressed out.

She simply does not want other people to see her as a different person after changing her face.
Cacai Bautista also said that even the time she had braces was not just because of vanity.
It was really needed to correct her teeth since problem in bone structure runs in their family.

After saying her serious reason of disregarding cosmetic surgery, the comedienne jokingly said: “Siguro naman kakayanin ko. Tulog naman ako habang ginagawa!”
However, she pointed out that she is contended with her face, based on the article.
“Pero masaya naman ako sa fezlacks [mukha] ko. Ang dami nang nagkakagusto,” she quipped.
