Fans of Vice Ganda and Vic Sotto are getting excited about their project together
The exchange of messages between It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda and Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto is currently a hot topic on social media.
During the closing segments of their respective noontime shows, the two gave each other shout-outs, which made fans excited about the possibility of them collaborating on a project.
In his closing spiel, Vice paused briefly before signing off to greet the veteran actor and host whom he called his idol.
“Ay guys! May babatiin lang ako, yung idol ko. Hi, Bossing Vic! Hi, Bossing! I love you!” Vice Ganda said.
The It’s Showtime hosts cheered at the greeting that the Unkabogable Star extended to Bossing.
The Eat Bulaga host did not miss the chance to reciprocate, returning the shoutout Vice had given him. “Teka lang may bumati sa akin kanina eh,” Bossing Vic Sotto said. Then, he said, “Babatiin ko rin siya ngayon. What’s up, Vice! Mag-uusap tayo, huh?”
His co-hosts, Maine Mendoza, Miles Ocampo, and Allan K—reacted. Then, Allan asked jokingly, “Pinagbabantaan mo ba si Vice?”
“Hindi. Mag-usap tayo ng masinsinan. Basta ang masasabi ko lang sa iyo, mwa mwa tsup tsup.” the veteran comedian-TV host answered.
Based on the article in PEP, a mall show for the upcoming movie starring Vic Sotto and Vice Ganda, and will take place this coming Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM, at Gateway Mall 2 in Cubao, Quezon City.. This project is expected to be an entry in the 2026 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
While the title of the movie has not yet been revealed, the project has been confirmed following a “new movie alert” released by Star Cinema. This made fans so excited. “Grabe yung tuwa ko as a fan. Naluluha ako. Nagsama na yung dalawa sa favorites ko, sa iisang movie for MMFF. Can’t wait sa i-ooffer niyo sa amin sa pasko. I will definitely be seated! Kahit panoorin ko yan nang ilang beses,” a fan commented.
Before Vic and Vice exchanged greetings on national TV, aspiring actress Sofi Fermazi had already released a social media announcement on Wednesday, July 1. Attached to this is a photo of Sofi with Vic and Vice.
“Hello my dear Softies, I’ll be performing as the Special Guest Artist at Vice Ganda and Vic Sotto’s New Movie Announcement on July 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Gateway 2 Mall Quantum Area. See you all!” she wrote in her post.
