DEMI LOVATO – The Hollywood superstar Demi Lovato finally releases a statement after she was released from the hospital due to a drug overdose.

American singer and songwriter Demi Lovato, as per a previous report, has admitted of having a Bipolar Disorder.

However, it did not hinder her success to be the superstar that she is now after her breakthrough in playing the Mitchie Torres role in “Camp Rock”.

Moreover, she has become one of the judges of X-Factor and even said upon return in Manila that everybody makes her feel welcome.

But recently, she was reported being rushed to the because of the drug overdose which really gained sympathy from a lot of her supporters and fellow celebrities.

According to a report from The Cut, it was on July 24 when the incident happened where she suffered complications for overdosing drugs.

Thus, after being released from the hospital, she was reportedly in a rehabilitation center now for further recovery.

On her Instagram, she wrote something as she broke her silence after the incident which put her life in jeopardy.

In her post, she said, “I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I have learned is that this mental illness isn’t something that disappears and fades with time. It’s something I must continue to overcome and haven’t done yet.”

She added how grateful she is to God for keeping her alive and to her fans for their love and support.

Moreover, “I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery. The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side”
