Young Footballers Rescued From Thai Cave Appear In Public After Hospital Discharge

The young footballers rescue from a flooded cave in Thailand made a public appearance right after discharge from the hospital.

On Wednesday (July 18, 2018), the 12 football players and their coach who were trapped in Thailand cave made a public appearance after discharged from the hospital they were confined.

The young boys together with their coach have recounted the details of their horrifying experience inside the flooded cave.

Wild Boars soccer team and their coach got trapped at the Tham Luang cave last June 23, 2018, after entering the cave for adventure.

The Thailand rescuers find it difficult to extract the boys and their coach from the cave until they finally find a way to take the footballers out of the dark and twisting tunnels.

The young athletes were sedated and given oxygen supply while the rescuers were gradually extracting the boys.

Two skilled divers pulled and pushed each of the survivors out of the tiny flooded chambers.

“While we were waiting, we kept looking for a way out and looking for water to drink. We drank water that was dripping down the cave walls,” (–foul word(s) removed–)chai Kamluang said quoted by untvweb.

The boys and their coach were also saddened after hearing the news that former Thai Navy SEAL Samarn Kunan died during the operation.

“We feel really sorry, he was very brave. When we heard he had died, everyone was shocked. We couldn’t believe it had happened, everybody was sad,” Ekapol Chantawong said.

All of the boys are now in good health condition after having a treatment in the hospital.
