Why did Piolo Pascual almost left the showbiz industry before?
PIOLO PASCUAL – Since I Found You actor Piolo Pascual admitted that there was a point in his life when he wanted to leave the field of show business.
Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual is one of the stars who have managed to remain in the spotlight until now. He is currently 41 years old and has a grown-up son named Iñigo Pascual, also an actor and singer like his father.
Piolo and John Lloyd Cruz are batch mates in showbiz. The latter is currently on an indefinite leave and he is allegedly devoting his time to his baby with actress Ellen Adarna. Previously, based on a report, Piolo has expressed that he is not thinking of taking a leave from showbiz.
Currently, Piolo Pascual is having a primetime television series, Since I Found You, with Arci Muñoz, Alessandra de Rossi, Empoy Marquez, and JC De Vera. It airs from Monday to Friday.
Piolo Pascual also joined the casts of the Saturday sitcom Home Sweetie Home which is mainly starred by Toni Gonzaga and John Lloyd Cruz. On Sunday, he appears on the Kapamilya show ASAP.
Based on a recent report on Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), there was also a point in the Kapamilya actor’s life wherein he wanted to leave showbiz. According to him, he was turning 40 during that time and he wanted to leave showbiz because he is too tired and got no time for himself.
“Mid-life ‘yun, eh. Talagang crossroads sa akin ‘yun. I thought I wanted to quit,” he expressed.
Piolo Pascual said that the Lord and the ABS-CBN did not allow him to leave showbiz. He revealed that he struggle for six months and he went on a three-month vacation to figure out what he really wants to do in life and if he is really done with showbiz.
“I realized na hindi pa naman siguro. It was humbling for me to accept the fact na hindi pa ako tapos sa ginagawa ko,” the actor said.
Based on the report, Piolo Pascual stressed that the thought of quitting showbiz no longer cross his mind now and he feels “more inclined” not only to acting but as well as to producing and making partnerships for content production.
