Rita Avila Slams News Report Over Wrong Details On Comment Over Duterte’s Statement

Rita Avila clarifies her comment about the blasphemous statement of the president.

RITA AVILA – The actress Rita Avila has slammed an article for reporting wrong details about her intriguing comment regarding President Duterte’s blasphemous statement.

According to a previous report, President Rodrigo Duterte has received various comments about his blasphemous statement of the president about God.

“Who is this stupid God? Estupido talaga itong p***** i** kung ganun. You created some — something perfect and then you think of an event that would tempt and destroy the quality of your work,” he said.

Moreover, in another report, he blasted Christian’s beliefs again as he threw tirades against the characters in the painting “Last Supper” which became saints.

He even indicated, “Basta na lang ginawang santo kasi nandun sila sa painting. San Isidro, San Pablo, St. Jude, Santo Rodrigo kung sino na lang.”

Thus, had himself gain numerous and various reactions from the people, the celebrities, and some politicians.

And one of whom who left a reaction and comment over the blasphemous statement is Rita Avila.

In a report from Rappler, the actress’ comment stated, “This is a reflection of you, Mr. President. You only respect yourself. You look at us like garbage cans where you freely throw your trash. Wag naman ganun. Tao kami.”

And in a recent post of Avila on her Instagram account, a certain site has reported that she accordingly got “inis” (annoyed) with what the president has said.

“WRONG because I only said I was against his badmouthing on God & the way he speaks because it is hurting our sensibilities,” the actress has clarified.
