LeBron James Prefers To Join LA Lakers Rather Than Rockets
The NBA superstar LeBron James reportedly prefers to join Los Angeles Lakers rather than Houston Rockets over the proposed switch.
The upcoming free agency of the basketball superstar LeBron James has been one of the most discussed topics in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Numerous teams are already showing their interest to have the four-time MVP on their teams if James decided to leave Cleveland Cavaliers.
In 2010, LeBron James left Cavaliers for the Miami Heat, but eventually returned on his hometown club as two-time NBA champion in 2014.
The 33-year-old NBA icon has been linked to numbers of franchises such as LA Lakers, Houston Rockets, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, and his current team Cleveland Cavaliers who wants him to stay.
Rockets’ Chris Paul tried to convince his good friend James to join Houston but he has been unsuccessful to convince the Cavaliers star, according to ESPN’s Stephen A Smith.
LeBron is not interested in joining Rockets instead, he prefers to be with Lakers who have the salary cap to sign at least two high paid players.
“According to my sources, several things are happening. A) Chris Paul is telling folks LeBron ain’t trying to come to Houston. He wants to be in L.A. These are things I’m getting through the grapevine. Chris Paul is saying LeBron wants to be in L.A.” Smith said quoted by MSN.
