President Duterte defends what he did to Pinay OFW.
PRESIDENT DUTERTE – President Rodrigo Duterte defended himself against comments on his recent issue and says to do it again with another woman.
President Rodrigo Duterte was recently condemned by a lot of people after kissing a Pinay OFW in South Korea during his meeting with the Filipino community there.
Based on a previous report, the president has kissed the Pinay OFW on the lips and it was filmed making online stirs and leaving his critics abuzz considering his political position in the country attaining the highest one.
The scene has prompted the people in the venue to cheer and fill the place with a mix of shouts and more teasings.
One commenter has accordingly indicated, “I dont see how this is proper. Especially since he is the president. It has nothing to do with dilaw or pula. It is about behaving appropriately and being respectful to others! Common decency.”
And days after the incident has made it to the local headlines, President Duterte defended himself saying that it was “biology”.
He said this during his speech as he attended the inauguration of Mactan-Cebu International Airport Terminal 2 as based on a Twitter thread reported and posted on ABS-CBN’s official account.
Moreover, the president has added, “I really embrace and kiss people– ‘yung magaganda, hahalikan ko. In the many campaigns, maybe you kiss a thousand ladies on the lips. ‘Yun ang style ko sa pulitika. Kung may volunteer ngayon… eh ano?”
He stated that he will do it again with another woman if one would volunteer herself to be kissed by the president and added that it was his style in politics.
