Kris Aquino Shares About Former Pres. Cory Aquino’s Love for Josh
KRIS AQUINO – Queen of All Media Kris Aquino revealed what the late President Corazon ‘Cory’ Aquino told her before she passed away in 2009.
Actress-talk show host Kris Aquino was recently hooked on an issue with Presidential Communications Operations Office Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson following the latter’s social media post about the actress’ father.
The post that showed the late Senator Ninoy Aquino Jr. being kissed by two Filipinas before the unforgettable incident at the Manila International Airport crossed the social media as Uson defended President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s controversial kiss to an overseas Filipino worker.
Based on a report, Kris Aquino reacted to the move of the PCOO Assistant Secretary and called out to her to face her. She admitted that she was hurt by Uson’s move being a daughter. She defended her dad and as well as her mom, the late former Pres. Cory Aquino.
The incident happened at the same time that Joshua Aquino, the son of Kris Aquino with actor Philip Salvador, celebrated his 23rd birthday. It is no secret to the public that Josh is really loved by his Lola Cory.
Based on a recent report in Pep, speaking at the live interview on Cristy Ferminute on Radyo Singko 92.3, the actress shared about the love of her late mother for her eldest son who has special needs.
Kris admitted that her relationship with her mom went through rough patches when she was pregnant with Josh as the former President was mad at her for getting pregnant out of wedlock.
Meanwhile, according to the actress, before her mom passed away, the former President made it clear to her that she wanted the field for Josh and Bimby, the actress’ youngest son, to be on the same level.
Kris Aquino revealed that former Pres. Cory Aquino did not “disinherit” her as she was “never part of the inheritance”. The latter decided to give and put the money that she’s supposed to give to her youngest daughter under the name of Josh.
“Nasa tiyan ko pa lang, pinag-aagawan si Bimb para sa commercials. Masakit sa mom ko na this child is getting everything, and Kuya Josh – because of his condition… hindi maaasahan kung ano’ng mangyayari,” she said.
Based on the report, Kris Aquino also revealed that she is not the one managing the inheritance to Josh. It’s under the care of her elder sister Ballsy Aquino-Cruz. She stressed that her eldest son has always been special to her mom and he was the only who gets to hold her hand in the hospital.
“Suwerte si Josh lumaki siyang may lola,” she said.
