Pres. Duterte Apologizes To Kris Aquino
DUTERTE – Special Assistant to the President Christopher ‘Bong’ Go revealed the message of Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte for actress Kris Aquino amid the controversial issue with Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson.
Recently, videos of actress Kris Aquino calling out ASec Mocha Uson circulated on the social media. Based on a report, Kris called out Uson following the latter involving the actress’ parents in defending the controversial kiss of Pres. Duterte with an overseas Filipino worker.
The youngest daughter of the late Senator Ninoy Aquino Jr. and former President Corazon ‘Cory’ Aquino reacted to the move of the Assistant Secretary and even challenged her to face her personally.
Kris Aquino admitted that she was really hurt and she reacts being a daughter.
ASec Mocha Uson has yet to respond to the message of Kris Aquino for her. Meanwhile, Pres. Duterte’s Special Assistant Bong Go has recently spoken to the members of the media in a press briefing over the issue.
According to Go, the actress sent her a text message on Tuesday night and she expressed her concern over the social media posts of ASec Uson against her late parents.
Based on the report, the SA of the President expressed that he informed Pres. Duterte about the message of the actress and the President told him to extend the apologies to her.
“Sabihin mo, ‘We are sorry for the incident,'” he said.
According to Bong Go, he has already talked to Uson and she has agreed to put an end to the issue. For her part, Kris Aquino has expressed her gratitude to the President’s Special Assistant for his reply and showing empathy to her and consideration to her feelings as a daughter.
