Robin Padilla Posts Message For PGT Grand Winner Kristel de Catalina
ROBIN PADILLA – Action star Robin Padilla clarified his ‘kailangan mo pa rin ng lalaki’ statement to Pilipinas Got Talent grand winner Kristel de Catalina.
Spiral pole dancer Kristel de Catalina stood out amid the many excellent and jaw-dropping performances in the ABS-CBN talent search show Pilipinas Got Talent season 6. On its grand finals, she was announced as the grand winner and received P2-million cash prize.
PGT judges Robin Padilla, Angel Locsin, and Vice Ganda have nothing but praises for Kristel, a single mother from Antipolo City. She has a seven-year-old son named Troy. Many admire the PGT grand winner not only because of her talent but as well as her strength as a woman.
During her performance on the grand finals, Kristel de Catalina had a male assistant and it was praised by PGT judge Robin Padilla. However, based on a report, his statement earned him criticisms.
Previously, Robin Padilla has also stressed to Kristel de Catalina that she needs a man in her life. It also elicited negative reactions from the viewers and the netizens on the social media.
Recently, the PGT judge took to his social media account a photo of him together with Kristel and along with it is a lengthy caption entailing his praises to her and clarification over his controversial statement.
In his post, Robin Padilla expressed his gratitude to God over the victory of Kristel de Catalina. He told the PGT grand winner to savor her success as it is a reward from the Heaven and a gift from every Filipino.
“Simbolo ka ng Kababaihan sa oras na ito! Ikaw ang anyo ng kanilang Kapangyarihan ! Ikaw ang malaki at magandang boses ng bawat kababaihan maging Pinay man o Dayuhan,” he wrote.
The PGT judge also stated in his social media post that Kristel was able to prove what ‘Woman Power’ means because of her performance and he did not feel scared even though her stunt is not safe.
“Saludo ako sa iyo Tunay na You did it All by yourself,” the actor stated.
Meanwhile, in his social media post, Robin Padilla stressed that Kristel de Catalina still needs a man. The PGT judge clarified that he is not referring to a lover but to someone who will be a father figure to her son and he can be a member of the family.
“ I will never question any mothers capability to survive and be victorious but reality is asking for it. Puede naman ibigay ito ng kahit na sinong lalaki sa Pamilya basta meron siyang maging anyo at halimbawa ng isang Lalaki,” he stated.
Robin Padilla stated in his post that him raising Kristel de Catalina in the photo means his salute and happiness over the victory of the PGT grand winner.
