Latest Weather Update On Friday (April 20) Released By PAGASA
The state weather bureau PAGASA has released the latest weather update affecting the country’s weather system.
On Friday (April 20, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced that Mindanao would experience rain showers due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).
The ITCZ would bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the region of Mindanao, according to PAGASA.
The weather agency also warned the residents of affected areas of possible flooding and landslides due to the light to heavy rains.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers brought by local thunderstorms.
The coastal waters over northern Luzon would be moderate to rough because of the moderate to strong winds.
Central and southern Luzon, Visayas, and the rest of northern Luzon would have slight to moderate coastal waters.
Mindanao would have slight to moderate coastal waters due to light to moderate winds.
