Claudia Barretto Reveals Side on Choosing To Enter Music Industry

Young singer Claudia Barretto is the daughter of former actress Marjorie Barretto with comedian-actor Dennis Padilla. She is the younger sister of blogger Dani Barretto and Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto based on a report.
Claudia undeniably came from a celebrity family. Her aunts, Gretchen and Claudine, are both actresses like her mother. However, the celebrity status of their family does not exempt her from “stage fright”.
Based on a recent report in Pep, in an interview with the source after the media conference of the Cornerstone Entertainment Inc., Claudia Barretto admitted that she is really very shy and she has a stage fright regardless of the number of audience in front of her.
Claudia Barretto is among the contract artists of the CE Inc. that is led by Erickson Raymundo. Other millennial artists are Alex Diaz, Janina Vela, Kyle Echarri, and the daughter of singers Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza named Jayda.
According to Claudia, she was 15 years old when she told her mother that she wanted to pursue singing. That happened three years ago when they started talking to record labels after she told her mom about her passion.
In 2016, she signed under the Universal Records and she also began her journey under the Cornerstone Entertainment. Her first single was released in May 2017.
Based on the report, although Claudia Barretto has already released her single albums, the young singer seldom makes personal appearances on live shows. She admitted that she has a ‘stage fright’.
“Yes! No matter how little or big the audience is, I still get nervous. I think that’s what I am working on this year,” she expressed.
Claudia Barretto clarified that she is not closing her doors to acting. Meanwhile, she stressed that she is enjoying expressing herself now and her passion which is music.
