PAGASA Says Low-Pressure Area Expected To Affect PH Weather Condition
The state weather service PAGASA is expecting that a low-pressure area spotted over Surigao del Sur could affect the country’s weather condition.
On Saturday (February 03, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) have spotted a low-pressure area (LPA) about 505 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur around 3 am.
The weather disturbance was expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas and Mindanao.
Meanwhile, Cagayan Valley Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora would have a cloudy condition and scattered rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and the rest of the country would also experience cloudy conditions with isolated rains.
PAGASA also reported that northeast over northern and Central Luzon would have very rough coastal waters because of the strong wind.
The coastal waters over the rest of Luzon and the eastern Visayas would be strong to moderate.
While the rest of the country would have slight to moderate coastal water due to the light to moderate winds.
