Video of Taxi Driver ‘Elcias Bugsad’ Catches Netizens’ Attention

ELCIAS BUGSAD – A video of a taxi driver who knows how to follow Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s way of speaking went viral on the social media.

Pres. Duterte undeniably has a noticeable way of speaking. He always stresses his point and keeps his statement straight based on a report. His tone is undeniably registered on the minds of many Filipinos.

One driver in Davao City, the beloved place of the 72-year-old President, actually knows how to follow his way of speaking and it visibly entertained his passengers. One of those who had the chance to take a ride in his taxi was not able to resist from taking a video of him as he speaks.

Facebook user ‘Rachelle Oyette Dequina’ posted a video of Elcias Bugsad, the driver who knows how to exactly follow Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s way of speaking, on social media. She also posted three photos on the online platform. It did not fail from catching the attention of the netizens.

In the video, Elcias Bugsad could be heard following Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s way of speaking as he stresses his being firm on what should not be done. He expressed that he is not afraid to die.

He shared that he had a foreigner passenger who asked him to bring him to the nice places in Davao. According to him, he told the foreigner that the country has been colonized by the United States for several years but they are only getting the fat of the land.

“Walang nangyari. Masyadong kayong bilib sa Amerika ako ba sa inyo doon na lang kayo magtira,” he said which made his passengers laugh.

Elcias Bugsad, still following Pres. Duterte’s way of speaking, raised the issue of inequality between the Philippines and the United States. He cited that when Filipinos go to the U.S. there is a need to get a visa while when Americans go here, there is no need to take a visa.

“Gasakit ang dibdib ko mag-isip ng problema ng bansa natin,” he said.

It could be heard in the video that Elcias Bugsad’s passenger is almost catching her breath due to laughter. The video showing the driver who speaks like Pres. Duterte went viral on social media.
