Robin Padilla Shares Suggestion for Marawi Movie
ROBIN PADILLA – Action Star Robin Padilla revealed that he suggested Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte be a part of the Marawi movie.
Blockbuster director Joyce Bernal and actor Piolo Pascual are coming up with a movie about the Marawi war. They are collaborating with action star Robin Padilla who is one of the personalities who are very eager to help the people of Marawi based on a report.
The war in Marawi has not only affected the residents in a minimal level. Many of them lost their homes, their livelihood, and even their loved ones and they undeniably need some assistance in getting back on the track.
Based on a recent report in Inquirer’s Bandera, Robin Padilla expressed that the money that will be earned by the Marawi movie will be used for the construction of the structures in the place.
According to him, no amount of money will go to Direk Joyce, Piolo, and Dennis Uy.
“Lahat ibibigay nila sa akin. E, ako ang napagkatiwalaan na gagawa ng community. ‘Yun ang papel ko,” he said.
Based on the report, Robin Padilla suggests that Pres. Rodrigo Duterte be part of the upcoming Marawi movie.
“E, sana po si Mayor (Duterte) talaga, kung mabibigyan po kami ng pagkakataon. At nasa script po talaga,” he said.
The action star also added that it won’t be good for a historical movie to just look for someone who looks like Pres. Duterte as the President is still alive. He believes that the President is wholeheartedly concerned to the Marawi soldiers,
Based on the report, Robin Padilla expressed that Pres. Duterte might possibly agree to play a role in the movie as it is a story for the soldiers of Marawi. The shoot will begin anytime soon according to the actor and the target date for its release is on June 12, the Philippine Independence Day.
