President Duterte Wants Clark Luggage Robbers To Be Killed
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte wants the Clark luggage robbers to be killed after stealing the valuables of an OFW from Canada.
Previously, the video footage of an Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) named Jovenil dela Cruz expressing his disappointment with the staff of Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) for stealing his valuables worth P82, 000 goes viral online.
The Clark airport has ordered the termination of six airport employees who were responsible for the luggage theft incident. The culprits have been arrested but are currently out on bail.
Recently, President Duterte sought to kill the suspects under MIASCOR Aviation Services involved in the luggage theft incident at the Clark airport.
“Patayin mo na lang. Kontakin mo na lang ‘yung police dun. Marami ‘yan diyan,” Duterte told CIAC Acting President Alexander Cauguiran.
Duterte also offered to pay the total amount lost by the OFW due to the luggage theft incident.
Cauguiran replied to the president that the OFW had already received the payment for their losses.
However, the president irked for more and said that the suspects need to be punished in order to learn their lesson.
“Walang areglo diyan,” he said. “‘Pag hindi, parusahan ko kayo. Kung hindi ninyo gawin, ako ang papatay diyan. Isa-salvage.Ang Pilipino hindi matuto ‘pag hindi mo ginanun. Or they continue to do it unless you put a stop to it,” Duterte said.
Mr. Duterte also wanted the MIASCOR’s contract to be terminated and Clark airport should look for another one because he doesn’t want those kinds of incidents to be repeated.
