Bianca Umali had the chance to share the same frame with Nora Aunor
Kapuso actress Bianca Umali reacted to the alleged billing issue that happened in her movie Mananambal with Superstar and National Artist for Film and Broadcast Nora Aunor.
Bianca is one of the most sought-after Kapuso actresses of her generation. Among her recent acting projects is the movie directed by Adolf Alix, Jr.
A press conference was recently held for this movie and entertainment writer Jun Lalin had an intriguing question for the director, based on the article in GMA Entertainment. Lalin mentioned that rumor has it that Bianca Umali‘s camp wanted a bigger space for her name than Nora Aunor on the movie poster.

Direk Adolf was about to answer but Bianca asked if she may answer the question first. The actress said that she is shocked by this question but she will handle it professionally.
For her, the question was inappropriate for the event and she does not know what to feel about it. “I do not have any idea about that and I am worried about how people in this room might take it, hearing it from a representative from the press,” the Kapuso actress said.
Bianca stressed that billing is not an issue for her and that the mere fact of having the chance to work with the Superstar is already a big opportunity for her.

“Pasensya na po. I would like to just clarify also that the opportunity to work with the Superstar, with our National Artist is already a blessing. And it is an opportunity that I already knew na hindi ko palalagpasin,” stressed.
Bianca also shared that working on the set with Nora was like a masterclass for her. She said that this was a dream that she never expected to be a reality someday. For her, working with Nora is already enough.
“Ako po, bilang isang aktor and the love that I have for my craft, the respect that I have for myself and in the industry, billing is not really – it’s a bonus,” the Kapuso actress pointed out.
Direk Adolf also said that he did not know where the speculation about the billing came from. He also said that when he and his producer were creating the movie poster, they already knew where to put who.
