To which he had apologized for right after someone has called him out over his “insensitive” joke.

One netizen even said following his apology, “Joking about AIDS that killed and still kills ppl will never be funny. The fact that he couldn’t grasp that beforehand is appalling. One of those think before u click moments.”

And among those who had reacted is the actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

On Twitter, Jasmine just reacted, “What an a$$!!!!”

And when she read the reply of the actor to someone who has called him out, the actress just typed a brief sad face.

On the shared screenshot of the conversation, someone stated, “It would really mean a lot if will educate yourself about HIV/AIDS. These people are already stigmatized and ostracized by society and making their condition the butt of jokes only make things worse for them. Someone like you who is privileged to be under the spotlight could help raise awareness about HIV/AIDS.”

“Yeaah i do not have a friend who has aids, as i’ve said just got it on twitter. And i saw your tweet about it. People thought i really did that. Should have been more sensitive and of course if it would happen in real life i wouldn’t treat it as a joke,” the actor said.
