Sugod Bahay Winner Mistakenly Thanked ABS-CBN Instead Of Eat Bulaga

A Sugod Bahay winner thanked the ABS-CBN instead of Eat Bulaga.

A Sugod Bahay winner who received P60,000 has mistakenly thanked the “ABS-CBN staff” instead of GMA’s Eat Bulaga on national television.

It was never a secret to the public that the two of the biggest media network in the Philippines, the ABS-CBN and the GMA, have a great rivalry.

And recently, on the December 4 episode during the Juan For All, All For Juan segment of the Kapuso network’s noontime show Eat Bulaga, a quite awkward moment among the hosts has happened.

A video from the YouTube channel Eat Bulaga! has been obtained where a winner of the Sugod Bahay has mistakenly called out for the rival network to express gratitude for all the prizes she had received.

Naturally, the hosts Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros and Vic Sotto were surprised by the winner’s message.

Even the live audience filled the studio with laughter because of her statement.

Jose corrected the winner, “Hindi po ABS ito. Eat Bulaga po.”

They have then asked the winner what station she usually watched but the old woman has admitted that she does not have a television. She just usually watches on her neighbor.

Here are some of the comments obtained:

Another “nagpapasalamat ako sa ‘rival station/show’” moment!

What can you say about this?
