Filipino Actor Paolo Ballesteros Reacts On Joey de Leon’s Alleged Insensitive Post
The Filipino celebrity Paolo Ballesteros has reacted onJoey de Leon’s alleged insensitive post saying “Masyado tayong mapag-connect”.
Previously, the veteran host Joey de Leon has been the headlines of numerous local news outlets and social media pages in the country after posting an alleged insensitive post on his Instagram page “angpoetnyo”.
The comedian has posted a photo of himself swimming in the Dead Sea with a caption of “Nuknukan ka na ng katangahan pag sa DEAD SEA nalunod ka pa!”.
However, many netizens and some celebrities have lambasted the Eat Bulaga host for his alleged insensitive statement, which was linked to the death of the Kapamilya Hashtags member Franco Hernandez.
Franco died two weeks ago because of drowning after he falls from the motorized boat together with his girlfriend and a colleague. He was already unconscious when the rescuers recovered his body, so he was rushed to the nearest hospital, but declared dead on arrival.
The cast of “It’s Showtime” and the colleagues of Hernandez on Hashtags expressed their reaction towards the statement of Joey de Leon.
Recently, Paolo Ballesteros, the co-host of Joey de Leon on the longest-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga” has also expressed his reaction to the comedian’s statement.
“Tayo kasing mga Pilipino, masyado tayong mapag-connect. Siguro kung ganon tayo mag-isip, lahat ng bagay nakikita, eh iwas-iwasan na nating mag-comment para wag na nating palakihin. In the first place, wala namang issue, ‘di ba?” Ballesteros said.
