US President Donald Trump Named North Korea As State Sponsoring Terrorism

The 45th US President Donald Trump has declared North Korea as a state that sponsors terrorism on Monday (November 20, 2017).

Donald Trump has added the name of North Korea to the terror blacklist including Iran and Syria. He also even called the communist country as a state that sponsors terrorism although his top diplomat was still hoping to negotiate with Kim Jong-Un’s regime.

The statement of Trump was citing the death of an American student held in a North Korean jail and murder of Kim’s elder half-brother, Kim Jong-Nam who died after he was sprayed with a nerve agent in Kuala, Lumpur in an assassination blamed on Pyongyang.

Rex Tillerson, the US state secretary said that the United States was still hoping that Kim Jong-Un would negotiate with them through applying sanctions and pressure towards the communist country.

Trump and Kim were having a conflict due to the series of nuclear attempt from Pyongyang targeting to hit Washington’s mainland.

The United States and United Nations have already set sanctions and applied pressure towards N. Korea, but the Pyongyang remains aggressive in launching series of nuclear tests targeting various nations.

Due to Pyongyang’s nuclear threat to the world, the US President revealed that North Korea supported terrorism acts internationally for a number of times.

“In addition to threatening the world by nuclear devastation, North Korea repeatedly supported acts of international terrorism including assassinations on foreign soil,” said Trump quoted by Inquirer.
