Philippine agency which trained candidates from Indonesia and Japan for Miss International 2017 being questioned by netizens

The recently concluded Miss International 2017 did not pass without another controversy which has become a usual thing to happen during a pageant.

Filipinos knew that a Philippine Agency, KF or Kagandahang Flores, For Crown, For Country, which is a known training institute for beauty queen aspirants has actually been training Miss Indonesia and Miss Japan.

It can be recalled that after the pageant night, Miss Indonesia Kevin Lilliana was hailed as this year’s Miss International while Miss Japan Natsuki Tsutsui ended as the 4th runner-up.

It was also posted on the official Facebook Page of KF that the agency is congratulating both of the beauty queens for winning in the said pageant.

Some netizens commented that it is kind of unfair that a Philippine agency was training other beauty queen aspirants from other countries and are actually competing against the country’s candidate, Mariel De Leon.

Facebook user Lhein Agar said that KF For Crown, For Country must be changed to “Countries” because it does not only cater exclusively to Filipina beauty queens.

She added that what the agency is doing is just pure business and another netizen agreed with her views.

Furthermore, an Instagram post from @diosa_del_universo asked the same question to Kagandahang Flores whether to what country the agency is being loyal.

On the other hand, one netizen in the person of Noah Torres defended the training institution for beauty pageants.
