Former President Aquino Asks Critics To Consider Their Efforts
Former President Benigno Aquino III has asked his critics to also acknowledge the rights things did by his administration during his term.
Aquino asked his critics to also remember their rehabilitation efforts they had done after Super Typhoon Yolanda with an international name of “Haiyan” has struck the Philippines in November 2013.
Many Filipino people are now condemning the Aquino administration for only 13 percent of houses allocated for Yolanda victims are occupied as of 2017, which is almost three years after the typhoon’s devastation.

Yolanda is one of the strongest and deadliest typhoon to hit the country based on the Philippine recent history, which killed thousands of Filipinos and destroyed countless properties.
The ex-president explained that the delay in their rehabilitation efforts for Yolanda victims was due to lack of structural engineers and securing land for the housing projects.

Aquino also cited their recovery efforts for Yolanda survivors and even recalled that his administration was able to restore the electricity in the typhoon-affected areas before Christmas.

“Baka naman puwedeng maalala rin ang nagawa naming tama,” said by Aquino quoted by Rappler.
