North Korea Slapped With UN Sanctions After Its Largest Nuclear Test
The United Nations has slapped North Korea with new sanctions after Pyongyang launched their sixth and largest nuclear test.
UN has imposed stricter sanctions against North Korea such as the total ban on oil imports and textile exports to prevent the communist country to fund their nuclear programs, which was originally proposed by the United States.
The decision p(–foul word(s) removed–) unanimously after China and Russia agreed to the reduced measures against North Korea as their ally country. The harsher sanction was passed at UN Security Council meeting on Monday (September 11, 2017).
The new sanctions will limit the imports of oil products and crude oil in North Korea. The exports of textiles will be also banned, which is the second largest export of Pyongyang worth over $700 million per year.

The measures will also limit North Korean workers from working abroad that would cut off an estimated $500 million of tax revenue annually. While the travel ban and proposed asset freeze on Kim Jong-Un were dropped.
“North Korea needs to realize that a reckless challenge against international peace will only bring about even stronger sanctions against them,” said by a South Korean presidential office spokesman on Tuesday (September 12, 2017).
