Aiko Melendez narrates scuffle with former Iranian boyfriend.
AIKO MELENDEZ – The Wild Flower actress Aiko Melendez reveals and narrates what really happened over the scuffle in a bar with her former Iranian boyfriend.
The incident has been reported by the Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep), and as per the report here are the statements of Aiko to clarify the said incident.
The former Iranian boyfriend of Aiko Melendez is Shahin Alimirzapour.
She confirmed the incident and has accordingly happened at Revel at the Palace in Uptown Bonifacio in Taguig City.
Here is what Aiko Melendez shared over the said incident:
“Paano ba… you know kasi, he is not from showbiz. When we parted ways, nagkaroon na kami ng usapan na ayoko na siyang maging parte ng buhay ko. I’d like to keep quiet. But unfortunately, last Saturday [August 19], hindi ko alam na birthday niya… The reason why I went to that place, The Revel, was because my son [Andre] was there, with the big group.” the actress narrated.
She then further continued that she even greeted him and she is with a friend. It was accordingly Shahin who went to their table and they all greeted him back in a civilized manner.
“Tapos, kasayaw ko si Ken Alfonso, yung friend ko, he’s my friend. We were all dancing, I’m with my son… The reason why I went there, I followed late, because I wanted to pick up my son.”
“He [Shahin] approached us and, suddenly, bigla na lang tina-trash talk niya si Ken. Ang point ko lang, sana lang respect my friends, kasi wala na naman tayo. So, I told him, ‘Shahin, stop it.’ Luckily, he listened, kaya lang natulak niya yung kaibigan ko. Sana lang next time, huwag ganun. Minsan na nga lang ako lumalabas, makikita ko na nga lang siya minsan, may ganun pa? Kailangan ko rin namang ipagtanggol si Ken. Nakakabastos yung ginawa niya dun sa kaibigan ko.”
Aiko even pointed out that she and Ken were just really just friend and nothing more is going on in between them.
Nevertheless, the actress also shared how their night ended after that incident.
“Kasi, ang mga bouncers sa Revel are my good friends, so siyempre poprotektahan kami niyan. So, sabi ko na lang… Lumalabas din na ang hindi pagbati ni Aiko kay Shanin sa kaarawan nito ang dahilan kung bakit nagkaroon ng kaguluhan noong gabing iyon. Alam mo, ang puno’t dulo nga daw, sabi ng common friend namin, kasi daw hindi ko man lang siya binati nung birthday niya. Kasi nakalimutan ko sa sobrang kasabawan ko sa schedule ko, nakalimutan ko lang talaga, nagtatampo siya sa akin. Pero hindi naman magandang kapalit yung tampo is manulak siya nung kaibigan ko na wala namang kinalaman.”
