KRIS LAWRENCE – The R&B singer Kris Lawrence reveals something over his feelings towards former girlfriend Katrina Halili.
In an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep), the soulful R&B singer revealed what he still feels for his former girlfriend Katrina Halili.
As per the report, the singer and the Kapuso actress has accordingly been in a relationship that lasted for five years and even reached the point of nearly tying the knot but unfortunately separated for some apparent reason.
On Katrina’s side, she broke up with Kris because of “lack of maturity and financial stability.”
And when Kris was asked if they are thinking of getting back together, Kris just stated, “I don’t know… My love for Kat will never go away. She’s the mother of Katie. I don’t know. I believe that. Because even though we have gone through our rough patches, at the end of the day, she’s still very, very special to my heart.”
The singer continued, “She always has that soft spot as a mother of Katie. In a perfect world, it would be nice to have that family whole again. We don’t know what the future holds, but I always hear from her, sinasabi niya, ‘Hindi talaga’,”
And as for the custody of their child, he revealed that “not too long ago”, Katrina wouldn’t allow him to see Katie to which boils down to them fighting about it.
But now, she has already allowed him to visit Katie anytime he wants to.
He even indicated, “But the thing is okay kami. I get to see my beautiful daughter whenever I want. Communication lines are open. She’s very close to my mom — which I love. Her and my mom talk a lot.”
