Beauty queen Mariel de Leon revealed more about herself in social media posts.
MARIEL DE LEON – Binibining Pilipinas International 2017 Mariel de Leon took to the social media a further revelation about herself.
Mariel is the recently-crowned Binibining Pilipinas International. She is the daughter of famous stars Christopher De Leon and Sandy Andolong.
Based on a previous news report, she was the female celebrity chosen by famous young actor Coco Martin to be her leading lady in the movie revival of ‘Ang Panday’.
Undeniably, the choice of the actor was faced with criticisms as there are those who wanted to pair him with either young actresses Yassi Pressman or Julia Montes.
Julia has already been paired with Coco before while Yassi is the leading lady of the famous actor in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano which still air on Philippine television now every night during weekdays.
According to the news report, Mariel de Leon expressed that she understands it as she has no previous experience in terms of acting. Meanwhile, Yassi defended the beauty queen and asked the public to give her a chance.
Mariel’s winning in Binibining Pilipinas paved the way for more opportunities to come to her and her recent posts show that she is not closing her doors towards other chances apart from the field where she was primarily discovered.
Based on the recent posts of the beauty queen on her Twitter account, she is “a ‘whatever happens, happens’ type of girl”. She also expressed that people should not question the plan of the Almighty but instead accept it.
According to Mariel de Leon, “what people don’t get” is that pageant is not her whole life but only a part of it. She stressed that it is also not her whole being.
