Manny Pacquiao Advised By Bernard Hopkins To Move On From Loss Against Australia Horn

The former world champion Bernard Hopkins has advised the Filipino boxing icon to move on from his controversial loss against Jeff Horn.

Previously, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao had his controversial fight against the Australian boxer Jeff Horn. He lost the WBO Welterweight Title after the judges declared that Horn won the fight via unanimous decision.

However, most of the boxing fans and sports fanatics were not convinced that the Australian boxer won the fight. Even, Pacman himself reacted to the result of the fight and doubted that the scoring was manipulated.

The World Boxing Organization (WBO) has appointed five judges to review the Pacquiao-Horn match. Three out of the fight judges agreed that Horn won the fight, one of the judges voted for Pacman, while the other one gives a draw for both fighters.

Recently, Bernard Hopkins, a former world champion does not believe that Pacman was defeated by Horn. However, he advised the Filipino boxer to move on from his controversial loss against the Australian boxer.

Hopkins gave at least nine round to Pacquiao and said that he don’t know what the judges are thinking about. He also believes that Pacman has no reason to set a rematch against the Australian Horn, because for him, Man had already won during his first encounter with Horn.

The former champion also hopes that the Filipino boxer would seek a different opponent for his next fight. He also said that Pacquiao should already move on from his loss.

“(He should) move on at this stage of his career, and fight somebody meaningful. A fight that’s not only going to be profitable, but also to enhance his legacy,” said by Hopkins quoted by ABS-CBN.
