Andre Paras Back On Basketball
The 21-year-old Kapuso actor and basketball player Andre Paras feels great on his basketball comeback after taking a long in basketball last 2015.
Andre Alonzo Forster Paras is a Filipino actor, dancer, model, and popular basketball player. In fact, he is the son of the PBA legend Benjie Paras and actress Jackie Forster. He is also the older brother of Kobe Paras who will play for Cambridge University.
Currently, the young Paras was a Kapuso actor and a part of the varsity team of La Salle Greenhills in high school. He also played for San Beda and the University of the Philippines during his college.
In 2015, the basketball player decided to take a break from playing competitive basketball, but eventually, he realized what he does really want. He was also back in action as part of AMA Online Education team, which also competes in PBA D-League, a minor basketball league organization.
Paras said that he got inspired to play basketball because of his dad and his brother. He also explained that no one told him to return in basketball it was just his own will to join basketball again.
The basketball player said that he can still achieve something at 21 and he wants to pursue the dream he once started with, while he is still young. He also that he already forget how competitive it was, because it was a mix of rising stars and ex-PBA players.
“It was amazing because I forgot how competitive it was, especially it was not college anymore. It’s more of a mix of ex-PBA players, upcoming and rising star, a mix of young players as well. So, it’s a diverse league, and I’m really happy to be able to showcase what I could have worked on,” said by Andre Paras quoted by PEP,
The younger Paras said that he wanted to improve so much in basketball because she still has so many lapses.
