The netizens on the social media reacted on the price of an overpass built in Bacolod City.
OVERPASS – The newly-inaugurated overpass in Bacolod City caught the attention of the netizens on the social media after its alleged price was revealed.
Recently, Facebook page Aksyon Radyo Bacolod took to the social media five photos related to the inauguration of an overpass built in Bacolod City, Negros Island Region.
Based on the caption of the post, the said structure which was inaugurated today is specifically located in front of Antonio Jayme Elementary School in Barangay Mansilingan. It is stated that it cost 10.9 million pesos.
The said post hooked the attention of the netizens on the online platform as many noticed the price of the said structure.
It abruptly circulated on the social media. As of the writing, the social media post garnered more than six hundred shares on the online platform and lots of netizens dropped their comments to it.
Netizen Tatidang Prokay stated in a comment that it is a very expensive overpass and it has no roof.
“Wala mahuya mag declare sng balor pero amu lng na chura?” the netizen stated in her post.
Facebook user Yu Mark shared in a comment that the building built by an architect he knows is bigger than the overpass but its price did not even reach P10 million. He stated that it is a three-storey building.
The attention of a netizen who claimed to be working in a construction firm was also hooked by the post. The said netizen, Pinky Foo, stated in a comment that the “ibeams and structural” of the said structure will not cost P10.9 million.
In another comment to the post, netizen Mariaella Madrileño stated that the price of the overpass in unbelievable. She compared to construction a house.
