Jhon Clyd Talili Named as First-Ever Winner of ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids’ (VIDEO)

Jhon Clyd Talili, a young singer from Surigao del Sur was named as the first-ever winner of “Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids” on ABS-CBN noontime program, “It’s Showtime.”

During the finale of the kid’s edition of the top-rated singing competition, Jhon Clyd Talili made a powerful rendition of Aerosmith’s hit single, “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing.”

Talili gained a total score of 89.90% from the combined text votes and scores of hurados.

According to ABS-CBN News, Jhon Clyd won a negosyo package from Siomai House, a trophy, P1 million pesos from Topps, and a house and lot from Camella Homes.

He went emotional after being declared as the winner of Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids.

Meanwhile, Keifer Sanchez landed on the second place followed by Mackie Empuerto, Sheena Belarmino, and Francis Concepcion.

Kiefer Sanchez of Davao City, who made a rendition of Regine Velasquez’s “Shine” will take home P200,000 after winning the second spot with a score of 70.47%.

Mackie Empuerto of Metro Manila, who belted out “May Bukas Pa” takes home a whopping P100,000 after earning the third spot with a score of 54.61%

While Sheena Belarmino of Cebu and Francis Concepcion of Mindanao receives P50,000 each after gaining the fourth and fifth spot respectively. Sheena got a score of 47.30%. On the other hand, Francis got a score of 36.78%.
