Maute Group Destroys, Burns Catholic Church In Marawi City
The video of Maute group destroying and burning a Catholic church in Marawi City goes viral after it was posted in the social media.
Church is a holy ground and place where used by Christians for religious activities, especially for worship services. This building also required peace, respect, and holiness from the people using it to communicate with God.
The Facebook page “President Duterte Trending News” has uploaded a video of the Maute terror group who fearlessly destroying relics, statues, Bible, and burning a Catholic Church in Marawi City is now making rounds online.
In the video, it can be seen that the members of Maute group were destroying the equipment and materials inside Catholic Church in Marawi City. In the end of the video, the terrorists also started to burn the church building.
Netizens expressed their sentiments and anger to the terror group due to their disrespectful actions towards the Catholic Church. Some social media users claim that those groups were only trying to destroy the image of Muslims.
The video immediately goes viral online after it was posted in the social media last Monday (June 05, 2017). The viral video garnered 1.1 million views, 12k reactions, 32k shares, and 3k comments as of this post.

Maute was the terrorist group who fought back the government forces and previously attacked Marawi City. The extended gun battle between the government troops and the terrorist prompted President Rodrigo Duterte to declare martial law throughout the entire Mindanao.
