PRAY MARAWI – An inspiring song was composed as a tribute to the situation of Marawi because of the attack of the terror group, Maute.
“Pray Marawi”, is a song composed by Vic Desucatan as it was posted and shared on his Youtube Channel.
The song is in tune of Matisyahu’s One Day song and is dedicated for the Marawi City which is still currently suffering from the battle between the country’s military troops and the terror group.
Terror attack of the Maute group sparked when the military have tried to seize their leader.
They started burning buildings, freed the prisoners and caused death of several civilians which makes the main reason why people of the place have to leave because of fear.
And also the main factor as to why President Rodrigo Duterte have to cut short his visit on Russia and meeting with its president.
Going back to the song, it conveyed an inspiring message to everyone.
A we all know, the situation and condition of the place and people is really devastating because of the ongoing firefight.
The song indicates how hard it is now in Marawi but then again, Someone from above will help them rise again from their downfall.
Unity, is one of the thing that the song that gave emphasis. Even though there are a lot of different religion but helping each other without any division would be the key to the crisis.
Set aside race, age, gender and religion for this is one of the times when our country should stand as one and that is to never let the assailants make the country fell down.
