Jun Veneracion responded to the Instagram post of Luis Manzano regarding his live reporting in Marawi.

JUN VENERACION – The news anchor from the GMA network responded to the statement of the host from their rival network Luis Manzano regarding his live reporting in Marawi.

Based upon the previous report, something unexpected had happened during the live reporting of the news reporter from GMA as he broadcasts an update in Marawi.

On the video, he was reporting an update about the happenings in Marawi. He was giving Mariz Umali the update when suddenly a cockerel made a cackling sound just behind him which startled him and that was caught on camera.

Startling caught on cam, despite the serious issue, the public as given a chance to laugh for a while and made them forget the hard situation in Mindanao.

Immediately, the video went viral.

With these, the host from their rival network, Luis Manzano, could not help but react thus, he released a statement about it through a post on his Instagram account.

The written caption of the post says, “Don’t get me wrong, we should all admire the dedication of all news teams from ALL channels giving us information, especially the field reporters putting their lives on the line in dangerous locations, but this is just a too funny vid! 🙂 and on a very serious note… MABUHAY KAYO lahat ng mga news and current affairs sa lahat ng channel at radyo, salamat sa inyo.”

And the anchor on the video on the other hand responded, “No problem with this post sir, @luckymanzano. Ako din natatawa sa sarili ko. Sana lang the uploader included the serious part which transpired immediately after the funny moment. All good!”

Surely, everyone is aware as to how hard it is for the field reporters to be on the actual event most especially when their lives are put at risk.

But still they do for passion and for their service to the public.
