Donna Sagudang , the Pinay OFW in Hong Kong gets to be featured on Asia Times because of exceptional talent.
PINAY OFW – Donna Sagudang, the helper from Hong Kong got featured on Asia Times because of her amazing art skills.
According to the previous report, Donna wowed her employer because of her talent in art as she painted their house. She is from Baguio who decided to leave to in hopes to find a greener pasture.
She works in Hong Kong as a Domestic Helper. However, just recently, she was able to have an opportunity to be featured in Asia Times. The title of the article says, “Filipino maid explores her drawing talents in Hong Kong”.

According to the report of the Asia Times on their site, she was working in Hong Kong as a maid since 2014.
She told the Asia Times that ever since she was a kid she wanted to study art but she was not able to because the pencils in the Philippines were expensive.
She draws during her break time and at first, Donna was just drawing cartoon characters down to the portraits of movie stars. When she uploaded her works, a lot of people has been requesting her to do a portrait of them.
Sagudang even actually helped her employers to paint their house and she was even permitted to paint anything she wants on the walls, door and garden floor of the house.
She is from a big family with seven siblings and was brought up by her elder sister, when their mother died, of whom is a teacher in Baguio.
For the past years of her of job, she sent almost all her salary to the Philippines for her family.
But now, that her brother will graduate soon, she is hoping to save money for herself to have a formal training in arts.
