Largest Firing Drill Performed By North Korea Despite Tension

North Korea has performed its largest firing drill to mark the anniversary of its military foundation amid tensions in the area.

On Wednesday (April 26, 2017), North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un has supervised the largest-ever firing drill and there are some speculations that they would launch its sixth nuclear test to mark the 85th anniversary of founding its military.

Supreme Commander Kim has ordered the Korean people’s army to perform the largest artillery drill in the eastern port city of Wosan to mark the anniversary, according to KCNA news agency.

Aircraft were dropping bombs and submarines were making torpedo attack at the enemy warships. “The brave artillerymen are mercilessly striking the targets, the way they fire is liberating and their shots are very accurate,” said by Kim cited by KCNA.

The troops have also pledged their loyalty to the North Korean leader and vow to defend him using 10 million bombs and 10 million guns. Pyongyang’s eloquence has escalated due to the joint military drills held by the United States and North Korea.

Previously, North Korea conducted five missile tests and 2 of them were conducted last year. Kim was also aiming to develop a nuclear-tipped missile that could reach the US mainland.

The communist country also gets failed on its missile test when one of the missiles suddenly explodes 4 to 5 seconds after it was launched. The incident takes place during the 105th birth anniversary of Kim II Sung.
