BALUT – A Filipino delicacy also known as fertilized duck egg has nutrients that is beneficial to the body the reason why you should include it in your diet.

According to the report of Aphrodisiacs in their site, the word balut is rooted from the Malay word “balot” which means “wrap” and that perfectly describes the exotic food because it is wrap and covered by a shell.

To make balut, duck eggs should be brought first by a balut maker. Then eggs that have been laid will be incubated surrounded by warmed husks of rice. Then wait until the eggs are ready to be boiled and be sold.
