10-Year-Old Boy “Jorge Miano” Hang Himself After His Aunt Put Makeup On Him And Feared To Post It On Facebook
The 10-year-old boy “Jorge Miano” allegedly took his own life by hanging himself in the room of their house in Tondo, Manila after his aunt put makeup on him and posted his photo on Facebook.
Around 1:20 pm on Monday afternoon (April 10, 2017), Jorge Miano was found by his mother Charie hanging inside his room of their home in Dagupan Extension in Tondo. Charie, 36-year-old said that his son was in a kneeling position, with a scarf looped around his neck, its end was attached to a cradle.
Jorge was not able to survive, even his mother rushed him to the Tondo Medical Center. The 10-year-old boy was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
Superintendent Alex Daniel of the Manila Police District (MPD) Station 7 has signed a report stating that the boy took his own life after having with his mother Charie and aunt only identified as “Eve.” Eve reportedly put makeup on the face of Jorge and took some photographs using the camera of her phone.
The boy feared that his aunt would post the photos of him on Facebook, so, he locked himself inside his room. Charie went to Jorge’s room t comfort him, but she did not receive any response from her son after several knocks on the door. She forcibly opened the door and found his unconscious son hanged in a silk scarf.
MPD reported that the family of the boy who took his own life declines to cooperate with the authorities and asserted that there was no foul play happened.
