Faith Constantino Peñaridondo, dubbed as “drug queen” of Sarangani was arrested in a joint buy-bust operation of PDEA and police agents on Sunday, April 2, 2017.

According to a report from the Philippine Star, Faith Constantino Peñaridondo hails from Malungon town in Sarangani and is tagged as the elusive “drug queen” of the locality.
The office of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Region 12 said in a statement that it has an adequate deposition to prosecute the drug queen.
PDEA-12 included the 41-year-old Peñaridondo in the most wanted drug dealers in the province of Sarangani.
Peñaridondo was captured by the authorities in the act of selling shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to an agent of PDEA who disguised as a drug user. She was busted near her hideout in Purok Waling-Waling in Barangay Malandag, Malungon in Sarangani.
Early this week, Sarangani’s drug queen has been charged with the violation of the Philippine Dangerous Drugs Act by PDEA-12.
PDEA-12 acknowledge that barangay leaders and local officials of the said town who helped the agency in monitoring the movements and transactions of the drug queen Sarangani which later led to her captivity.
