The Philippine Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (PAPRAS) will conduct an investigation over the death of Shiryl Saturnino who died after cosmetic surgery procedures.
According to the report of TV Patrol anchor Zen Hernandez, the group is set to conduct an investigation regarding the death of the 29-year-old businesswoman who passed away last Sunday, March 26, 2017 after having multiple cosmetic procedures.
Shiryl Saturnino died at exactly 3:21 in the morning. The doctors tried to revive and save her but it was not successful.
According to the report, it was around 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, March 25, 2017 when Shiryl Saturnino, together with a relative named Shiela Mae Anabe Deinla, arrived at The Icon Clinic in Mandaluyong City.
Initial investigation revealed that she undergo series of cosmetic surgery such as breast augmentation, liposuction, and butt surgery.
Dr. Jose Jovito Mendiola and Dr. Samuel Eric Yapjuangco were among who performed the surgery.
The surgery ended around 2:40 in the morning, Sunday. The doctors noticed that Saturnino’s heart was not beating anymore. Through a mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, they tried to save the patient. However, she was not able to survive.
Saturnino was rushed to Makati Medical Center but declared dead by Dr. Kristel Marie del Rosario at 3:21 am.
