Korina Sanchez posted on her Instagram account a photo showing the “new look” of former Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas.
Recently, the wife of former Interior Secretary Roxas posted a photo of him with a caption: “Husband wanted to show me his “new look”. Lost weight, is fit, Uniqlo pants and untucked shirt with topsider loafers.”
The television news broadcaster also added in the caption that her husband is now in style and she approves it: “At last! Mukha na syang uso! I approve!”
The post of Sanchez on her Instagram account has already reached more than two thousand likes as of the writing. There were also other Instagram users who expressed their reactions to the photo of the former Interior Secretary via comments.
According to one netizen, former Interior Sec. Mar Roxas looked young.
One Instagram user commented that she did not regret voting for Roxas for the presidential position while another netizen expressed in his comment that she is still praying for him to be the president.
One netizen commented that Mar is handsome while another Instagrams users commented “cool” and “Bravo sir”.
“Kung nanalo si Sir Mar, maha-haggard ang itsura nya at puputi ang buhok nya…pero mas maayos, asensado at respetado sana ang Pilipinas ngayon,” one netizen stated in her comment.

Meanwhile, one netizen stated in a comment that the former Interior Secretary, considering all the foods that were posted while in New York, “should have gained weight”.
The netizen stated that it could have been liquefied when Roxas landed in the country.
Roxas, aside from being the DILG Secretary during the term of former Pres. Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III, was also one of the Presidential candidates during the 2016 election.
He carried the banner of the Liberal Party and his vice president was the wife of the late former Interior Sec. Jesse Robredo, Leni Robredo.
Based on a previous news report, Roxas was one of those who are allegedly involved in the supposed gold shipment during the term of former Pres. Aquino. He was identified as the ‘nutrition secretary’ in the complaint.
One photo of him while he was cooking eggs was previously posted by the former DILG Secretary. He stated in the caption: “As alleged Sec of Nutrition, I recommend scrambled eggs para sa mga scrambled brains.”
