16-Year-Old Girl Missing After Meeting Indian Chatmate
A 16-year-old girl went missing after meeting her chatmate from India, her family believes that the Indian national had brought her away.
Nowadays, meeting friends online seems very easy because of social media messaging. Communication in this modern generation becomes easier and faster due to technology innovation. But it can both have an advantage and disadvantage.
Some people were taking advantage of social media for their selfish motives and desires. Social media user should be always aware and careful in meeting personally their friends they have met online. This case should serve as a warning for everyone.
Last January 30, 2017, the 16-year-old Jessica Salutan went missing when she met her Indian national chatmate in General Santos. Her mother Eva Salutan immediately reported the incident to the authorities of South Cotabato to declare that she is already missing.
Eva reported that her daughter went off to meet the Indian national. She also said that they have received the last text of Jessica informing them that she is fine. Since then her family never heard anything from her and never came back.
Jessica’s family believes that the Indian national, which was identified as Suyiba Ansari (Shoyeb Ansari) had kidnapped their daughter. The authorities of the province were already doing their best to find Jessica. PNP Cybercrime is already on rescue just to find the girl.
